Visa-exempt visitors will be issued an entry permit to cover the period of stay, for short stays. Travellers entering Gibraltar from the UK or Spain should note that these countries may require a longer period of passport validity than Gibraltar does. It is highly recommended that your passport has at least six months validity remaining after your intended date of departure from your travel destination. Immigration officials often apply different rules to those stated by travel agents and official sources.
